Established by Neil in 2010, Stourbridge Automotive Ltd has expanded during that time with a reputation to give customers and their vehicles, the support needed in terms of servicing, repairs, MOT’s & performance.
If in the past you have liaised with our team about your vehicle, then you may have already met or spoken to Rowland Thomas – our Senior Diagnostics Technician & Andy Thomas – our Service Technician & MOT Supervisor.
As of 2017 Rowland is set to become Service Manager and Andy will be taking on a new role as Workshop Controller. Both are senior rolls within the business and their level of knowledge and experience will oversee the daily service & repair side to Stourbridge Automotive Ltd. Working closely together, they will be on-hand, so that customers can be re-assured that they are being looked after across our extended team.

By creating these new roles, the aim is to further improve our business to extend on the diverse range of services we offer and to sit alongside our servicing, repairs, MOT’s and diagnostics.
This will ultimately give directors, Neil and Kay Fellows the ability to focus on business development including car performance upgrades, training and the progression of new business ideas.

Business owner Neil, feels that the progression of the business is to offer customers what they would like. By listening to their comments he feels it is now the right time to be focusing towards other developments to secure the future of Stourbridge Automotive Ltd.
“My main aim for 2017 is to look at new ideas and new products; but not losing site of our customer service, which is something we have built this business on” remarked Neil.
Previously, he worked with BMW main dealerships for most of his career. Rowland has been with Stourbridge Automotive Ltd since October 2013.
His role has grown with the business, initially being Neil’s ‘right hand man’ his progression to Service Manager was an easy decision to make for Neil, as he deals with daily aspects of the business and often customers ask to speak to Rowland.
Very much the ‘unknown’ business owner. As her role has progressed over the years, Kay has been the driving force and is not finished yet!
Kay’s immediate focus is to build on the office team and to appoint a new Reception / Admin assistant. From the next financial year, her focus is to bring new ideas to fruition; plus the ongoing encouragement for ladies to trust our team, “because for many it is a daunting task to enter a garage on their own, as it would be for me too” added Kay.
Andy joined March 2014 as a Service Technician and MOT Supervisor, again with previous dealership experience – bringing a high standard of work and knowledge. Andy is also trained to carry out Engine Remaps under BHP UK.
Now with his new role as Workshop Controller, working with Rowland. Andy will be dealing with customers on a daily basis, but also overseeing the technicians in the workshop and making sure that everything is completed accurately at all times.
