Whilst it was Porsche that recently won the February 2019, Bathurst 12 hour on Mount Panoma Circuit motorsport race. AC Schnitzer made exciting headlines when its Schnitzer BMW M6 GT3 excitingly took the lead at the halfway mark for a few hours or the 12 hour race.
Although the team did not make the final at the podium, they completed in 5th place against some resilient competition. The BMW vehicle was pushed to its limits, in tough and hot conditions which concisely demonstrated its enduring ability. The team and the vehicle remained strong and under good control throughout the race, performing with good lap times – a positive testament to the resilience of AC Schnitzer.
